Start the Year Strong: A Back-to-School Yoga & Mindfulness Workshop for Kids
Dates: Wednesday, August 19, 2026
Location: Main Studio
In-Person
For kids ages 5–11 | 2 hours
A new school year brings new teachers, new routines, new friends — and a lot of big feelings to navigate along the way. This 2-hour workshop gives kids a toolkit of yoga, breathing, and mindfulness skills to build the confidence, strength, and self-regulation they need to walk into the new year feeling ready.
Kids' yoga and mindfulness practices have been shown to support children's developing capacity for emotional regulation, attention, and self-confidence — exactly the skills that help a new school year feel less overwhelming and more exciting. We'll build those skills through movement, play, and connection, then send every child home with a hands-on reminder they can carry with them all year.
