Breathe Book Club meeting

June 5, 2024

Mark your calendars and join us for the inaugural Breathe book club meeting. All are welcome! Be prepared for an informal social gathering as we discuss the book The Yama & Niyamas by Deborah Adele.  Light refreshments will be provided at this first meeting and we'll also discuss other books of interest as well as future meeting days/times.  We do ask that you sign up/RSVP so that we have an idea of how many to expect.

Rest, Relax, Restore: Yoga Nidra and Sound Immersion

Join Codie on Friday, June 7 at 6:30pm for this relaxing and restorative Yoga Nidra and Sound Immersion experience. Yoga Nidra, also known as ‘yogic sleep,’ is a guided form of meditation that takes you to a point just above sleep where your body and mind can experience true relaxation. Following a 40-minute practice of Yoga Nidra, you will continue to drift deeper on your meditative journey by listening to the resonating sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, ocean drums, and more.

Family Soundbath and Storytime at Historic Sydenstricker Schoolhouse

Bring your family out to the Historic Sydenstricker Schoolhouse  for a morning of relaxation and mindfulness at this special community event!  You’ll immerse yourself  in the calming vibrations of nature, sound bowls, chimes, and ocean drums, promoting relaxation and inner peace for all ages (and ideal for children ages 4-10) followed by Story Time and “Ducky Breathing”.  Gather around and discover the magic of mindful breathing and imagination as we end the sound session with a delightful story-time featuring the book "Ducky Breathing” by Gail Mulder.

Kids Yoga Summer Mini-camp

Breathe Body & Mind and Mindful Moving Kids are thrilled to offer a weeklong summer camp for ages 5-10, June 17th - 21st.  From 2pm to 4pm little yogis will practice mindfulness, breath work, workshop poses, and use the poses in games with their peers to promote social skills, self-regulation, and overall wellness.

Chakra Yoga & Ayurveda Immersion: Meditation, Breath & Movement

Join Breathe Body & Mind and Beloved Yoga and for a week-long immersion workshop to dive into the meaningful and interesting world of chakras through the lens of Ayurveda and Yoga. This workshop is open to all yoga practitioners who are interested in deepening their knowledge of yoga and ayurveda. We will focus on the more subtle arts of yoga: meditation, breath and gentle movement.  Expect to explore the chakras through breath, movement, meditation, sound, mandalas, nutrition, mudras and more, including a study of the Yamas and Niyamas.

Chakra Awakening Workshop

Join Karin, Rebecca and Codie and take a journey through the chakras through flow, meditation and sound.  The chakras are the seven energy points in the body which correspond to nerves, major organs and emotional and physical well-being. They should stay "open" and aligned to maintain well being throughout the body and mind.  This 3-hour workshop will incorporate an all-levels chakra flow, meditation and sound immersion. You'll leave feeling both relaxed as well as restored and at peace!
