Chair Yoga - Winter 2025

In this 60-minute gentle chair yoga class, Charlotte will guide you through a series of seated and some standing yoga poses, adaptable for all bodies.  Join her for this enlightening and beneficial class. Classes held on Mondays at 2pm and Wednesdays at 12:15pm the weeks of Jan 6 thru the week of Feb 10.

Mindful Moving Kids - Jan 2025

January 7, 2025

Ages 5-12 are welcome to join Beth Hardy for this 4-week Mindful Moving Kids January session! We’ll be learning yoga poses, breathing techniques, practicing mindfulness activities, and playing games that use yoga to foster self-awareness and self-regulation as well as executive functioning skills. You can purchase the full January session (January 7, 14, 21, 28) for $80 OR your child is welcome to "drop in" to any of these classes ($25 per class) by choosing the Mindful Moving Kids Single Class option and pick the date(s) you want to attend. A 10% additional sibling(s) discount is offered as well.

Quads & Core w/Darina and Charlotte

You'll work your quads and your core with these two knowledgeable and fantastic instructors and will walk away feeling loose, long and strong!  This special class will begin with 45 minutes of core and quad strengthening and stretching as Charlotte guides you through a variety of yoga poses.  Darina will then lead you through the second half of class with a Yamuna Ball rolling session for the quadriceps, which will help to achieve a sense of greater length and freedom in the entire leg.

Your child(ren) will move, breathe, play, and connect for a 60-minute class, small group size class, which allows Beth to apply her expertise as a school psychologist to tailor the class to every student’s needs.

Yamuna is the founder of Yamuna Body Rolling.  Her approach to prevent or treat lower back pain is to create long and strong abdominal muscles, as they are crucial to support your spine and posture.  Darina is a certified Yamuna Body Rolling practitioner and, using these "magical" Yamuna balls, she will help you to develop length and tone in the center of your body and increase range of motion in your torso. You'll learn how this will help to reduce lower back problems, improve posture, lift the upper body and improve organ function. A great deal of focus will be placed on breathing while working deep into your center.

Balkan Fusion Dance Series

February 15, 2025

This dance style originates from Southwestern Europe (Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia) and is based on a walking step that is in unison with fellow dancers.  We will play with flowy Balkan skirts to a choreography. Skirts will be provided by instructor.
